Finally function, aesthetic, and comfort in a pair of Bluetooth headphones that actually fit in my ear, don't fall out, and a charge that lasts! I have been through so many different pairs brands and types and I am happy to have finally found a pair that work. For the price this COWIN pair is of great quality, function, and utility. The sound quality is good for my purposes, I use them for working out and calls, and I like that I can easily turn them off to hear what is going around me when needed and switch back to the headphones. I like they come with a few different earbud sizes because I did end up needing to change them to fit my ears. The battery time is great - a full charge lasts me over a week of use which is about an hour of working out everyday and about 45 minutes of calls each day. The only downside I experience is the touch panel on the side is activated easily. Sometimes I do not want to turn the sound off but end up doing so inadvertently because it is touch and not a button. It is hard to tell when I am activating it or not. Other than that, I am truly loving these earbuds!
These earbuds are used for a number of purposes throughout the day. We're still remote so I make the best of it by working outside with all the ambient sounds of nature and the road right by the house, serviced by trucks a few times throughout the day.
The noise cancellation works pretty well keeping the truck sounds out and the microphone does a surprising job keeping it all out during my zoom calls.
These buds are basically in my ears all day long, whether I'm working, exercising, or playing the piano. The ambient noise setting helps me play along with music on my phone while the absence of any wires makes it easy to cross my hands over the keys without tangling or getting caught on my arms.
These are especially useful during exercise. The environment around the neighborhood isn't especially busy, but the lawn service equipment and construction sounds that go on during the day aren't that enjoyable on a run outdoors -- hence the noise cancellation during my run. Also surprising, I don't feel nauseous with the noise cancellation feature on these ear buds like I do with over-the-ear earphones.
I also have a bad track record with trying to keep any earbuds in my ears. Thanks to the different sizes given inside the package, these actually do stay in my ears. I no longer fear the inevitable 'pop' that I came to expect from just about every other brand of earbuds.
These are pretty great earbuds! They are comfortable to wear, they have great sound and the noise canceling is pretty good. They paired to my phone easily and the case is nice. Definitely recommend!
I’m not an audiophile, but prefer well known brands like Sennheiser. This one was purchased out of curiosity keeping in mind free returns. The headphones exceeded my expectations. I like both the design and the sound. The active noise cancelling isn’t vital for me but works well. Cons: USB-C – call me old-fashioned. Overall I’m in love with it.
With everything going astray in 2020, buying this earbuds is probably the only thing that went right this year. I love every inch of this earbuds: from the quality of its sound to the amount of time the battery is preserved. Did I mention they are comfy too — even though I have tiny problematic pinna!I’ll definitely buy them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Cowin! ❤️
I was really excited to see that Cowin came out with the new Apex Pro active noise canceling ear buds. I'm a huge Cowin fan and have about 7 pairs of headphones and ear buds of different styles. I have a steady job where I'm either traveling to other countries or states, visiting locations where I represent our corporate office, or I'm on Zoom calls or meetings with other managers. I live in a very noisy neighborhood right in the heart of Los Angeles and it can be very distracting. I have been trying these out for a couple of weeks now and they are impressive for what they are. Obviously full ear covering headphones are the bees knees when it comes to active noise cancellation but if you're interested in something a lot lighter and not so warm around the ears then these are your guys! The sounds quality is really quite good for a small ear bud and the touch features work flawlessly. The base is pretty good though I've heard better in other earbuds but those are far too expensive for what they are. Especially since my primary method of listening professional music is on 7.1 surround sound speakers there is no need to throw extra money at a simple in-ear stereo sound. The only complaint I have isn't exactly an issue which is why I'm still giving this ear bud a 5 star review. The touch bar for changing the noise cancellation is located in the long part that stems out of the ear. I have to learn to not to take the ear buds out using this stem. I am constantly changing the noise cancellation option by accident as I take the buds out of my ear. It would serve better to have them on the side of the earbud itself to prevent this accident... Though I'm also happy that it is on the stem to prevent from my pushing the bud too hard into the sensitive part of the ear drum. I just have to learn to grab the bud when I'm taking them out of my ear. Seriously a really nice product!
