This is my second Cowin Audio purchase; 1st headphone was the E7. The Noise Cancelation "NC" definitely works! The SE8 fit my ears better. I also have BOSE Quiet Comfort 45. Cost:Function ratio - my opinion Cowin wins.

Case is smaller but thicker than older E7 model (which I also like) - See lower right open case in second picture. Headphones fill the case more fully. Ear cups are extremely comfortable and a great fit for me - a little bigger than the E7 (6' man with fairly good size ears). Product pairs quickly and is easy to work with. Simple controls on unit.
Product seems very well made. I really like the scale built on the headphone extension metal for a very repeatable fit. Cords have a bit of a rubbery/quality feel. Everything is included that you could possibly need.
Sound is equally good with Bluetooth or cord (but I prefer Bluetooth when available on sending device). In a very quiet room, I prefer sound with cancelling off. Sound with noise cancelling is still very good however.
Extended warranty takes you to Facebook. If you don't have facebook, just register it on their website.

I am very pleased with these S8 Bluetooth headphones by COWIN. The noise reduction is great and the sound quality is fantastic.

I did a lot of research before buying headphones focusing on sound, noise canceling, quality, and the specs from one manufacturer to the other.
I decided on the Cowin SE8 over Cowin's models and others, and that was the right choice. Researched buying from the popular shopping sites and then went to back to the Cowin website to purchase, surprised by a discount coupon at time of purchase. To sum it up out of the box the look and feel of these headphones is top notch, comfort is awesome, Bluetooth to my Samsung was effortless.
The real test was the sound quality which is superb and as good as more expensive headphones that I have had, and after getting the equalizer app that adjusts the sound its hard to believe the instruments you hear.
To sum it up this was the right choice for this type of headphones.

I've used a number of Cowin audio devices over the years, but these headphone....these are absolutely amazing. I owned the E7 Pro as well as the standard E7. Honestly thought these E8 would be a slight upgrade. Boy was I wrong. As soon as you open the package, you're greeted with premium packaging and premium, materials. The feel of the headphones are ...idk..luxurious? Basically you can tell you paid for quality. The sound is crisp but not lacking in bass (normally a trade off). The noise cancel was pretty good, but people I would talk to while walking outdoors instantly noticed an improvement in the noise or lack of outside noise during our calls. It's got easy controls, its collapsible, I mean I don't know what more to say about them. I will say , the one, single drawback for me is that its micro usb charging instead of current USB C. Beyond that, great headphones. Battery life is way above average. I've had them for a couple days now and have not needed to recharge despite using them everyday.

Let me just finish off by summarizing what everyone cares about;
Battery life has been exceptional. I think its rated for 30 hours, I've reached almost 30 and still rockin, no drop in performance.
The sound quality is superb. I can't say it enough. The sound is clear and crisp with just the right amount of bass to keep your head bouncing. I have a number of headphones, a lot more expensive than these, but for some reason I felt like I didn't want to take these off. They are just super comfortable, especially at the price point.
The Noise cancelling is instantly noticeable by you and whomever you're communicating with. Isolate the noise around you.

When opening the box for these Cowin SE8, I thought perhaps the product got mixed up. It looks like a Bose, it feels like a Bose, but it's not a Bose. It's better. The headphones are very minimal and can't beat a free case. Its sleek design is comparable to most highly expensive headphones on the market today.

The older versions of Cowins I have had an excellent sound quality and these are better than those. Cowin continues to excel in making their product better with clear audio and resonating sound.

The noise-canceling is my favorite feature of these headphones because they really do work compared to others on the market. The one-touch feature allows the headphones to transform into a world of it's own.

The comfort of this particular pair fits really snug. It conforms to the ears really well even for someone with a larger head. It's comfort allowed me to wear these for hours and barely noticed I had them on.

The battery time on these Cowins already beats my older pair. It charges pretty quick and have used them all day. I haven't tried to run them the entire 30 hours because I have a habit of charging my headphones daily but will try it out and reply back if it is less than described.
